He is currently a contributing writer and stylist to Vogue Italia where he has written on fashion history and trends in addition to styling features for the publication. James is also a contributing fashion and travel blogger for The Huffington Post where he’s been a TV correspondent for their new channel HuffPost Live! James contributes to several other publications including: Glamour Magazine, The Sabotage Times in London, Uptown Magazine and SoulTrain.com where he’s conducted celebrity interviews and covered major news in pop culture including the death of Whitney Houston.

As a celebrity fashion stylist, James specializes in red carpet looks. He is currently styling Natalie Hall star of the CW’s hit new drama “Star-Crossed,” and he’s also worked with Guillermo Diaz who plays Huck on ABC’s lead drama “Scandal.” James has worked with other celebrities including: legendary talk show host Montel Williams, Samson, and Black Mary Jane. James also works as a runway stylist and editorial producer. He is currently working with emerging brands in swimwear including FEMI and Tropical Complexion. He has produced segments during Miami Fashion Week, and oversaw castings, styling, and outsourcing of other services.

Most recently, James began work on his first collection of luxury handbags. The line, called Randolph (for his middle name) will be officially launched for the fall/winter 2015 season. The collection is inspired by high end textiles and exotic skins.

When James isn’t writing or styling, he can be found at home in front of his TV practicing his drink throwing skills while watching any of the Real Housewives franchises.
