Three of my great passions in life are learning new things, art and photography. I believe that art is meant to broaden one's view of the world. Seeing the beauty, and sometimes ugliness, of the world has helped me understand that all of our lives are at once interconnected and individual. Through my art and photography I seek to document life's experiences, to capture scenes and events as I see them and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world I've seen. As the images of other photographers have inspired me to explore, I hope my own contributions will inspire others to do the same.

I view the art of photography as a subtractive process, a distilling of reality into a personal vision. As such I often use the tools of modern photography – different film stocks, filters, digital enhancement – to try to capture in an image the emotions I felt at the moment I tripped the camera's shutter.

Though originally trained in Industrial Design and currently an aviation mechanic, I have been involved in photography since childhood. I experienced a renewed enthusiasm and appreciation for photography after taking different art classes while in college and soon started on a personal journey of learning different media.


I did not start off with an art background, but I always liked photography. There was an element I liked about photos that I could not describe. It was not until I was married and had children, did I get an opportunity to play around with photography.


I got my first camera as a gift and have never looked back. As I continued, I quickly fell in love with fashion and portraiture. I especially like telling stories visually and sans words. And even now, the fun and excitement of photography still continues.

I believe that photagraphy is about capturing the spontaneous and special moments in peoples lives, moments that are meant to be remembered and shared. As a photographer I am honored when I am chosen to capture these memories for others. I strive to make each clients special day a memorable experience while paying attention to all of the details. I use these captured moments to tell the stories of each of my clients; these stories that last a lifetime...
