WUZUP Magazine Model Showcase – Aspiring Models Compete to be Represented by WUZUP Magazine
On Saturday, February 25, 2012 –WUZUP Magazine will be hosting a Model Showcase, featuring beautiful models from all around the St. Louis area. Twenty five models will compete for a chance to be represented by WUZUP Magazine, but only six will be chosen. The show will take place at Studio Nazz, located at 1409 Washington Ave. St. Louis, MO. 63103. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the show will begin at 7pm. The event will be filmed for worldwide web casting via WUZUP Magazine’s website, and other social networking sites as well.

This event is primarily a showcase for local models seeking exposure in the fashion industry. The showcase leads up to the choosing of six models who will receive full service promoting and marketing of their talents. In addition to being an exclusive opportunity for aspiring models, the event promises to attract the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists and local music artists.
”I am extremely excited for this particular fashion event; it is a spectacular opportunity for many aspiring models, "says Whitney Shucks, who is the Producer/Director of shows and events with WUZUP Magazine. “Through this show, some lucky models will receive a tremendous amount of representation from the magazine,” Miss. Shucks explains it as, “an incredible occasion.”
The concept of the model showcase is to both create an environment where models have a chance to gain an unlimited amount of exposure, and to provide onlookers with an upbeat, exciting fashion event. Six models will win representation and gain way in the fashion industry. Fashionistas will enjoy a night of beautiful models, fabulous makeup and so much more.

This is a positive event for St. Louis, creating awe-inspiring opportunities for models and others involved in the fashion industry. Photographers are welcome to join in capturing the moments, designers may come to network with models who may be interested in modeling their line, and anyone interested in the fashion industry itself is invited to this event.
The showcase is to be held at Studio Nazz, a new fashion photography studio by David McWhirter. McWhirter specializes in digital photography and his equestrian images have appeared in both magazines and books. Along with being a fine art photographer, McWhirter is also an up and coming fashion photographer in the St. Louis marketplace. He has won numerous awards for his work ranging from action, nature and landscape to portrait and fashion photography.
