I've had a camera in hand since age twelve, and I want to gain experience, and have experiences. Photography is a huge passion of mine, and I want to take it to the ends of the earth (literally), and back. I love photographing travel, food, and lifestyle type stuff...but, it is people that interest me the most. I want to experiment, I want to progress. I want to take the wildest, most outrageous, most understated, and most excruciatingly beautiful shots of the human form. I am on Model Mayhem to make connections, and to hone my craft, whilst hopefully affording models the chance to obtain great shots.
I shoot a Mamiya 645 Pro TL. I enjoy shooting in a studio, but I appreciate natural light the most. I was shooting a Canon 7D for a while, but I find digital photography to be less satisfying and less artful. While I do own a digital camera for specific commercial purposes, In my work and day to day life, I use film, and only film. I am completely analogue. I had reservations about going back to my roots, but with people turning back to film photography in droves, I have come to realize that the medium of film has merits that are untouchable.
