Jo Ann Chen is a full-time freelance actress, model and dancer. She is trained as a contemporary dancer at the age of 13 at a local school in Singapore.

She has performed for Singapore Arts Festival, National Day Parade (formation as well as main stage), Huayi, Singapore Youth Festival and various competitions, events and festivals celebrations. She choreographs at times. After which, she was given the opportunity to pick up hip hop and kpop for performances like Bollywood drama series, 2017 countdown video with local DJs, The Lion City Boys ‘She Wild’ music video and flashmob for events and NDP celebrations.

As a model, she does fashion shows for Singapore International Indian Exhibition 2017, Business in Style at Mondo Vantanggio, SG50 Singapore Fashion Runway, Ferrari "A Roaring Nite of Indulgence", Love@Vivo Bridal Show, CCILU Shoes Product Launch and Kimage Hair Studio Singapore Dinner & Dance Hair Show.

Jo Ann loves doing charity and was a volunteer model for Singhealth President’s Challenge. She was also an ambassador for Positive Water.

She also did photoshoot collaboration in Melbourne, Rome, Athens and London.

She started her acting journey during end of 2016. She acted in MediaCorp Channel 8 “心情” as Apple (a prostitute), “The Convict” as a Pharmacist as well as in Channel News Asia “Law of the Land” as Young Wife. In Toggle “Lion Moms 2”, she was an "Idealistic Teacher". Jo Ann is also lead in short film “Secrets (are not meant to be uncovered)” and "The Dame in Bright Eyes", and supporting in "Little People". She is a regular actress with Happy TV and SocialGround.

With a special interest with Chinese martial arts, Jo Ann travels to Shaolin Temple to take up Kungfu and Chen Village for Combat Taiji. She was also in India for Yoga.
