"Makeup is like art to me and every face is an empty canvas"

I decided to be a makeup artist because I have had passion for it since I was a kid. I always wanted to do cosmetology but figured a business degree was the way to go. I got started as a makup artist while working at a busy tanning salon in Manhattan. At first I started doing freelance makeup jobs on the side to customers and employees who admired my skill and extensive collection of MAC products. Before I knew it, word had spread and soon enough I was doing everyone’s makeup for parties, weddings, etc.

One of my biggest accomplishments thus far is my work with Laura Laz, publisher of Culinary Celebrations Magazine and host of local television show "recipe of the week". Working with Laura has proved to be a huge networking success which has provided work opportunities for me in an array of industries.

After all these years its still the only thing I ever see myself doing!
