About Me

Leigh J Merrill was born and raised in New York City. It was a dream of hers to work in the entertainment industry since she was a little girl. After college she made it her mission to educate herself in every aspect of the industry. She briefly worked in the music industry managing up and coming music artists. She then went on to acting and modeling, which lead her to her next business adventure!

Leigh launched Gossip Meets Couture as a webseries in April of 2011. It is a show that consists of Fashion, celebrity gossip and celebrity interviews. In a short time she was able to secure many celebrity interviews on the show and the website. Along with the webseries, the website has turned into an online magazine and blog with all kinds of interesting updates and interviews. Leigh love s to write about her first love, fashion! Since launching, Gossip Meets Couture has covered red carpet, media and charity events throughout New York City, the Hamptons, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami. If there’s a red carpet event, Gossip Meets Couture will be there to cover it! GMC has become the one stop place for all things celebrities and all things fashion!
