My Pin-Ups depict beautiful, curvaceous women in classic pin-up poses, and in most cases are void of clothing. They are fun, sexy, engaging, and edgy, while appealing to both men and women by remaining classy and tasteful. Men will find the girls beautiful and desirable with their alluring attitudes and obviously, lack of clothing. Women will find that the pin-ups are colorful and clever, while showing them not to be afraid to be sexy.

Each piece is done in a unique technique, beginning with laying down flat colors with markers, going on top of that with layers of colored pencil, and then finishing it off with strong, bold outlines. This style lends itself well to tattoos, can be used as stained glass, traditional fine art, and can also work as more graphic uses like for t-shirts, posters and labels. Although these Pin-Ups are mostly marketed toward men, they are appealing enough to women so that they can maintain a broader usage for both sexes.

I get my inspiration from the queen of pin-up, Betty Page. Betty’s fun and vivacious personality often comes into my work. Her attitudes on posing nude and being filmed doing what was, at the time, seemingly outrageous fetish “pornography,” inspire me more than anything. Betty found herself to be a girl, comfortable in her own skin, just having fun being sexy. She didn’t find the photos taken of her without clothing to be pornography, rather a pure art form showing her in her natural self. Any video of Betty Page will show you how much fun she had just fooling around, being sexy, and that is what I love to depict in my illustrations; women being comfortable and having fun being sexy.
