JOHN FERRENTINO
John Ferrentino’s work speaks for itself.
As a professional comedian, John has had the opportunity to travel the world and indulge in his love of photography. He started shooting 35mm in the late seventies and amassed a stunning and extensive portfolio of travel pictures and candid shots. Photography had to take a back seat during the late eighties and early nineties when he gained national notoriety as a comic, and garnered the respect of the comedy magic world, appearing on more than 80 TV shows, touring with rock bands and becoming a regular headliner in Las Vegas. Since becoming a headline act on cruise ships, John has had time to return to his photography. He has made the giant leap to digital and has honed his skills as a Photoshop guru! So now John is shooting high end digital images and has learnt the challenging art of lighting, transitioning comfortably from mainly landscape photography to studio portfolio shoots. The years of experience are easy to see when you look at the beautiful work John is producing right now. John’s work has been seen on the cover of magazines and on CNN and he has had the pleasure of creating the headshots of many prominent comedians and actors.
He is happy to listen to ideas for shoots and work within the clients comfort zone, adding his professional opinion and exciting ideas not only during the shoot but during the image choosing process. With battery powered studio lights he is able to shoot indoors or outdoors, on locations of either your choice or his.
John is excited about working with artistic photographer Jan MacInnes in her new studio in Melbourne Florida.
