This is the story of a young woman who realized an unlikely dream. A dream to become a successful model and actress. Her story is here as inspiration for those that will follow and is living testimonial that dreams can come true with hard work and self-belief.

The first time Katrina Howell was noticed was when she was a young 15 year old babysitter. The model she babysat for arranged a photo-shoot. It was a professional shoot with makeup, hair and wardrobe all done for her. It was a wonderful, dazzling experience but she simply wasn’t ready for the big world of modeling. She was shy, had acne, felt awkward in front of the camera and lacked confidence. The time wasn’t right yet but that was to change.

It was in 2009 that Katrina lost that shyness and blossomed in front of the camera. She had been asked to be in a music video while getting her hair done and discovered she now felt at home with the cameras around her. So began her career in acting. In 2010, she decided to try modeling again and has thrilled the world of modeling ever since.

She has appeared in several feature films, her latest, “All That Matters” giving her the chance to be the lead and the Red Box release of the feature film “Behind Closed Doors”. Her modeling career has seen her on the catwalks and on the covers of magazines. And when Katrina isn’t lighting up the catwalk and stage with her brown eyes, she can be found having fun bowling, swimming or in the kitchen.

I want to further market myself as an actress and model to the best of my abilities. I want every person out there to not get discouraged in life and to remember that no matter how old you get, how many years have passed you by or even how many children you have that is NEVER too late to achieve your dreams!!!! If I can get even one person man, women or child to realize that just as I did, I would have achieved one of my career goals :-)
