About Me

Hello, my name is Ian Maile. I am based out of the Bay Area, and I shoot 35MM Film exclusively. I've been taking analog photos since 2008, when I received a Nikon SLR as a gift. I ended up falling in love with being in the darkroom and making prints.

My style of shooting during photo shoots is a little different, as I prefer to place a model in an environment, or setting, and let them interact organically.

In my time as a photographer, I've been featured in several magazines and art shows, and I've won several awards.
