About Me

ADDITION: Dear Everyone, who is interested in working with me:

Since I received a lot of requests in the last minute, I need to add some information about my schedule: during the week I only have 3 free days. (Mondays and Wednesdays I'm at uni, and also I'm working for MAC two days/week which differ each week.) So though I know, it's difficult sometimes, but if it's possible, please send me a request a week or at least a few days in advance, as the sooner I get your text, the better the chances are that I am free, or I can make myself free for you.


ABOUT MY WORK:


I AM a Hungarian make-up artist, currently located in London. I was trained back in my country, regarding the base of my knowledge. I had private lessons for two years from an artist who used to work for MAC. Then I also had a course at KREA Art School in make-up and personal styling, where I could learn from one of Hungary's top make up artist, Tombor Sarolta. I am still learning from videos, from my colleagues, by exploring my new ways of dealing with the ideas of make-up, with the materials, and tools that I work with. This is essential in order to grow professionally.


If I had to describe MY STYLE in make-up, I would say it is something playing with contrasts and contradiction. I like blurring the boundaries between the classical and the futuristic, between masculine and feminine, between different ethnic influences.
I also find it important that make-up is about self-expression and individuality: I try to look or make other people look different compared to most people. I believe that make up is not a mask, it is not meant to cover the face and cover the self, but rather is about playing with your own physical and inner potentials in order to find what is best suitable for you.

MY main INSPIRATION is the German TUSH Magazine, mainly Loni Baur who is extremely creative, goes wild with the colors and shapes. Her works blow my mind every time I look at her photos.


MY WORK EXPERIENCE goes back 3 years in time: I had many different make-up jobs: I used to do personal beauty consultations, created looks for test photo shoots, for young fashion designers, for music videos. I am working for MAC as a retail artist and I am doing freelance as well.
MY MAIN INTEREST is high fashion, but I am happy to work on different projects from bridal make-up through music videos till out of this world concepts.

Issue One was released on November 1 2010 and has received a lot of praise and interest. Issue's Two through Five will follow Equinox and Solstice for Seasonal year 2011
