I do Run a Freelance Graphics Design Shop and Work in Printing. When time permits I work on images unless (Paying for Service Money always talks in todays economy)

HI-RES Images are always the best you keep the detail in your pictures. Lo-Res Pictures 72 dpi. Are usually low quality and hard to see any detail. (Example: The picture your sending are they in size of 20 to 999k that most likely its Lo-Res and size is like 8.5 x 11)

HI-RES would be like (Example 32 x 42 72dpi) Hope that helps.
