I am first and foremost an artist. Art holds importance to me. I first started my journey through this artsy world through the eyes of a dancer. I started my training in Baltimore at the Baltimore School for the Arts. I trained in ballet, modern, and contemporary. Afterwards, I moved to the big city (NY) and trained in at the prestigious Ailey School under the direction of Denise Jefferson. From the school, I made my way into the professional world by becoming a company member of Ailey II. After graduating college, I was hired as a dancer for the main company, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
New York is where I was introduced into modeling. I have modeled for various dance magazines including as Pointe (December 2009) Dance Spirit (October 2009 & November 2009), and Dance (2010). I have worked with known photographers such as Eduardo Patino, Lois Greenfield, Nathan Sayers, Dorothy Shi, etc.
From here, I journeyed into other styles of modeling including Hair Modeling for TV series “The Hair Architect” (2010); runway modeling for various clothing lines like Jovani & Werocq for J. Harris’ LoveJones at Greenhouse; and Halloween costume modeling for Shape Magazine (October 2010).
I am always interested in learning new crafts.
