About Me

Tawnya is an 18 year old graduate from Winston Churchill C.I. During her time at Winston Churchill she had successfully obtained the Dramatic Arts award for grades 9,10,11 and 12 as well as winning the Female Fitness awards for grade 10 and12. Currently taking a year off from school before entering university, she spends her time working at the Miss Canada office. Hoping to attend Ryerson Univeristy in the fall of 2011, Tawnya continues her hobbies of reading and writing which she believes will assist her in her journey to becoming a great journalist. With a strong passion for acting, Tawnya hopes to one day be able to entertain the world whether it be film and/or theatre. Tawnya has also formerly competed in the Miss Teen Canada pageant - holding the title of Miss Teen Toronto 2007 - in 2008 placing as 1st Runner-up for Miss Teen Canada Petite.
