Hi my name is Katya Cox, I live in Sydney and work at HeadOverHeels King St Newtown as a senior techician /hairstylist as well as working for PARKSEBEL Hair extension company as the Creative Director. Im currently working on building up my portfoilio as a session stylist, im interested in fashion and editorial shoots but I'm open to exploring other genres/willing to travel and im looking forward to networking with serious photographers, models, stylists and makeup artists. I have been hairdressing for 6 years and i am very passionate about session styling, educating and inspiring others. I chose a career in hairdressing because it allows me to indulge my creative side whilst combining my enthusiasm for the industry with my artistic flair on a daily basis. I am constantly captivated my the possibilities of hair, my philosophy is that hair is like fabric you can create and recreate shapes and textures to push the boundaries. I believe hairdressing is a creative outlet for me, i have a professional and strong work ethic and believe education is the key to executing beautiful hair.
