Friends (10)About Me
I have been into art for as far as I can remember. Every Christmas and birthday I was always given some sort of art supplies by my family. I was given my first camera when I was ten years old. Ever since then I've been taking up the trade and taking pictures of anything and everything and managing to turn into something artistic. I developed a nack for it and as I got older I would upgrade cameras. I laugh because pretty much every year I was given a new camera. My main focuses have since been my schoolwork and my artwork. I taught myself how to use a camera and how to manipulate lighting and how to use strange angles and just be crazy and outgoing and try different things with it. To me what the artist sees behind the camera is different than what anyone else would see as a viewer. My goal as a photographer and as an artist is to make my images and my creations something captivating for any viewer and really get them to think about it. Although I'm deadset on being an artist for the rest of my life, I wouldn't be where I am without my family. My family is everything to me; hell, I've even got "Familie ist alles" ("Family is everything" in German) tattooed on my shoulder. They're my support and the pillars that hold me up throughout everything and anything. My parents have been together for close to 30 years now who have given me four siblings that I adore to no extent. My grandparents on my father's side I grew up being the closest to, but never really knew my grandparents on my mother's side. Really, my entire family has been with me through thick and thin and have watched me grow up into the young woman/artist I am today. Without their support I would be lost. After going through what I call "dark times" in my pre-teen years and going through in jr high the death of my grandfather whom I was very close to, I decided I really needed to live my life for something instead of just letting it pass by. That something became my family and my passion for art. With my family on my side along with my strongwill to survive and take each day as a blessing rather than a nightmare, I graciously and successfully became who I am today- An eighteen year old, fun-loving, intelligent, courageous, sassy, sarcastic, goal-oriented young woman given the opportunity of a lifetime to develop as a photographer and better myself not only as an artist, but as a person as well.
I'll shoot anything and everything. Something outrageous or something simple, I'll do it. Even the simplest shoot will turn into something amazing. My goal is to make it say something. Regardless of what the subject or composition may be. Contact me @: [email protected] Verified Credits (0)Worked with Brittany Wegner? Share your experience and become verified! Add Credits
