Yrenne Landeros was born in Chula Vista, CA and grew up in Tijuana, Baja California until the age of ten when her family moved to Chula Vista. She realized at a young age that her interest in fashion went beyond simply putting together outfits. Her first encounters with design were due to her grandmother who was always creating something on her sewing machine. When she wasn't sewing, she would sit Landeros down every afternoon and draw with her for hours. They would draw all sorts of things but the main thing they loved drawing was clothes. Well one day Landeros' grandma surprised her by sewing up one of the drawings she had made of a dress. Pretty soon this became a routine, Landeros would draw up what she wanted her to make and the next morning it was waiting for her in the laundry room, ready to wear to school. What seemed like a fun pastime back then turned in to her life's passion.
