Hello my name is John and I’m new to the art world but not new to drawing. At this moment in my life I’d like to try perusing a career in the world of pinup girls. Right now I’m trying to put together a portfolio of 20 drawings. I would like to tell you all about my drawings but that would be a very lengthy topic to write about. Although I can tell you this much, I put a lot of thought into my drawings and what kind of light I want my ladies to be portrayed in. I was initially inspired my Patrick Nagel. The foundation to all my ladies are done in pen and ink and the rest is left up to my imagination. I’ll use any and all kinds of colors, materials and mediums to help achieve a particular look for the drawing in question... Colors: pastels, earth tones, fluorescents, iridescent, glow in the dark paint and ect… Materials: handmade paper, maps, colored foils, stickers ect… Mediums: colored pencils, airbrush, stained-glass, embroidery, marbleizing techniques, watercolors, electronic items and ect…
