About Me

I am a photographer living and working in the Atlanta area. Recently, I've been working mostly in the consumer market (families, corporate events, etc.), but my background is in fine art landscape and natural light photography of all types.

Currently, the goal is to flesh out my editorial and commercial portfolios.

My goal for the shoots is not only to build my own portfolio, but also to build the portfolio of others.

I am looking to work with and for truly artistic people. People who want to create layered concepts together as a group with other fantastic artists.

I will work with anyone looking to create beautiful images, but mostly I am looking for serious talent. This means that you can, at least some of the time, work weekdays (with some weekend options). You are not a hobbyist. You might be a professional already and need some life breathed into your portfolio or you might be building a website so you can strike out on your own.

If you are interested in a TFCD shoot, please have a concept in mind or have some idea of what you'd like to do and how you'd like to do it. Have the passion to get it done and put in the work. I like to focus on collaborative shoots with amazing concepts.

If I have contacted you for a TFCD shoot, I will email you for a meet and greet and go over the concept with you. I no longer do head shot shoots TFCD, but I do have open head shot shoots at least bi-monthly for a reduced rate.

When shooting for TFCD, I want to make this worth everyone's time, so I shoot in order to provide 15-25 portfolio specific images in both high res JPEG (for printing) and low res JPEG (for web use) for everyone involved. From what I understand, this is about 5x's what the average photographer in Atlanta is providing in TFP/TFCD shoots.

Now, as for monetary compensation for all talent. Here it is, guys: if I'm not getting paid, I can't afford to pay you. If we're working for a specific project or a TFCD shoot, you'll get around 10-15 portfolio specific images delivered via Dropbox within two weeks of our shoot. I don't ask for equipment fees unless I have to rent something specific, so, in turn, I don't pay kit fees, gas money, parking, etc. We all bring our time, talent, and supplies to the shoot. Only in cases where something specific for the shoot has to be bought will I ask anyone else to absorb cost.

If you're a model, I'll give you a list of what you need to bring. Anyone else, I expect that we'll do concept talks at least a couple of days in advance so that you can ascertain what you'll need to get the job done.

There's the skinny in a not-so-skinny package. I do meet and greets with 99% of the talent I work with to get a sense of what you'd like to work on specifically (if anything), to check your general vibe (being easy to work with and a willingness to understand constructive criticism both go a long way) and to make sure you are who you say you are (this is the Internet, after all). I'll also give you the low down of how shoots run in my studio. It is at this point you'll realize that I'm not a b*tch, I'm just blunt and see no sense in wasting time. Believe me, most people appreciate it and my shoots run smoothly because of it.

So, if you're still interested, drop me a line. I'll get back to you as soon as I can to schedule a meet and greet. It'll be fab. Talk to you soon.
