About Me

My name is Garin Horner and I am both a Fine Art Photographer and College Photography Professor. I have been exhibiting photography and teaching world-wide for more than 25 years. I teach photography courses at Adrian College, in Adrian Michigan. In the past I have taught a wide variety of Studio Photography courses, including Portraiture, Fashion Photography, and Lighting for Film and Video.

Model Mayhem has been an important resource for both my students and me. Many students have found great models who would work for trade. I have relied on Model Mayhem for finding and contacting professional models for workshops, personal, fine art photography – all paying opportunities.

The approach I have toward modeling and photography is quite different from many of the models and photographers on this site, yet I am still part of this industry as a photographer who hires models and as a teacher who is training future photographers. As time goes on, I will add more and more work which showcases the models hired from MM. I look forward to working with you soon.
