I'm a Crewe based semi professional photographer, with about 16 years experience shooting people.

I am INCREDIBLY passionate about my art and have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic models over the years.

In terms of asking models to work with me, I work on a time for print basis, purely because photography is a passion and sideline.

If a model wants me to do some shots for their portfolio, then I would expect some form of payment, even if this only covers basic travel and studio hire costs. On occasion I'm flexible about this, but only if it is mutually beneficial to both of us to work together.

PLEASE NOTE for TFP shoots: I don't own a studio, I rent them. If I approach you I will have a space for us to work out of. If YOU approach me, please be prepared to pay for a studio. I can recommend some inexpensive studios.

I have some experience shooting portfolio shots, and have also done some beauty work for a hair salon and some hair competitions.

What I would like from this site, is the opportunity to work with some more models who are passionate and enthusiastic, and who are willing to experiment with different looks or ideas.

When I was first messaged from Nigel from Immortal Images I looked through his work and I was unsure If I was the right type of model for him as his work included nudes and implied nudity, however I saw good photography and messaged back telling him how I felt and he couldn't have been more friendly about it. He sent me a number of e-mails checking I felt comfortable with what we had planned and when It came to the shooting day he already knew what I would and wouldn't do. Nige is an absolute star ! We spoke via email gathering ideas and had a good chat the day before the shoot which made me feel very comfortable on the day, given that I've been only been modelling a couple of months.

Nige is an amazing person to get along with on and off set. His instructions are clear and precise which always makes a shoot run smooth. The studio that we used was paid for by Nige and it was amazing to use such a quality set up. When it comes to lighting and camera angles Nige is the man all I can say is that he is perfect. On the shoot we used a wide range of clothing and props which were brought by Nige, he came very well prepared. Even before the shoot Nige was always willing and interested to hear some of my ideas about the things that we were going to do on set and even on set we were bouncing ideas off each other. So all in all the shoot was fantastic and Nige was even better. I am really happy with everything and cant wait to have another shoot with Nige.
