My name is Ryan Gilden and I am a painter/graphic designer who lives on the Westside of Los Angeles. After a three year layoff I am finally starting to paint again. I have an artist studio at the Grad View Fine Arts Studio in Mar Vista that I share with a female artist. There are around 30 artists in the complex so it is a great place to work and meet other artists. I work mostly on large scale oils but hope to have some drawing projects in the works soon. I do a lot of figurative painting and would love to use this site to meet some legit models with professional attitudes. Most people I meet are either a little nuts or completely uncomfortable modeling. Nudity is not required but may be requested depending on the project. Part of my process is taking detailed reference photographs so all models must be comfortable with that. I am also interested in having models sit for short and long pose sessions for figure study and painting sketches.
