My name is Darren Johnson I am the CEO/Editor/Photographer of Zaria Magazine. We are based out of the beautiful Miami.

His vision was making the NBA and taking advantage of the skill god blessed him with, which was basketball. He was highly recruited out of high school by schools such as Rutgers, Maryland, Virginia and Manhattan College just to name a few, but lost the attention of alot of schools because of difficulty passing the SAT's. Manhattan College stuck with him through thick and thin, so he officially committed to them in May 2003. He attended this mid-major basketball powerhouse with a full athletic scholraship. He graduated in 2007 with a BA degree in Communications. He was invited to a tryout for the Indiana Pacers where he did great and just knew he would be on the same team he once hated because of New York Knicks rivalry hey witness growing up a fan. For some reason a week after the workout he decided that he wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle while on vacation. Luckly he escaped the jaws of death, but he did end his career in basketball. It was then he found the love for photography and combined it with his passion to create the best Mens Magazine in the World. Darren Johnson exotic photographic style and perfectionist mentality brings out the most in all his photos no matter the project. Get into the fashion world and have success meeting new people and have a family like atmosphere.
