When it comes to photography, I've been an avid hobbyist and have been so for quite some time. But these days, I have come to realize that knowledge in post-processing software like Photoshop ups the ante; especially in this medium.

I started out taking pictures during the 90's when film was all the rage. Using my mom's old SLR circa 1970's, I learned taking pictures just by messing around with the various settings. But then, I found it too expensive (especially with the price of film during that time!) so I reluctantly gave it up.

Now, with the advent of newer technology, I've rediscovered my passion and have recently taken up the hobby again. And I couldn't have picked a better time to do so.

Since I've been using Photoshop since 1998, I feel that mixing up the two (Pics and Photoshop) greatly enhances my workflow.

It helps that I love to tinker around with my gadgets. And, with a couple of years of Photoshop tucked under my belt, I've set out to capture moments with renewed zeal.

Now, my goal is to cover 2 sides of my house with pictures.. *sigh* still a long way to go...
