My names Serena, and I'm a 20 year old Journalism student that has recently relocated to Edmonton for school. For a few years now I've been trying to break my way into some alternative/creative modelling, either for fashion/glamour, or nudes/fetish work as well. Coming from a small town there weren't a lot of people that understood the work I was looking to do, nor were there any other models or photographers in the area willing to do the kind of the work. I'm hoping to find an up and coming young photographer, whom I can feel comfortable with, to work on beginning to build a sort of 'portfolio', I suppose.
I'll be the first to admit that I don't have a lot of experience, outside of doing a few amateur shots for local and provincial hair shows, as well as helping students attending college with a few 'artistic nude' sets. I'm learning to feel more comfortable in front of the camera and hope to work with someone who knows what their doing to inspire my confidence so that I can look great in a photo, and in turn, make you look great as a photographer.
I'm open to any ideas, and I'm open to experimenting with many looks as well. I currently have medium length black hair and a few tattoos and piercings hidden away here and there, but my look is ever changing, and that's what keeps things fresh and exciting!
If I sound like someone you may be interested in working with, or if you think you could help me 'bust' (haha) my way into the alt modelling business, I'd love to hear from you to brainstorm some ideas!
