I work in the social realist art tradition similar to Jacob Lawrence and and Gordon Parks.I paint in the flat painting style working from my sketchbook book.I attempt to load my art with marginal topics on politics and sex.I hope to provide the viewer with some insight into me as an individual and to the culture to which i belong.I'm a novice photographer preferring the photo essay approach.Creating a strong composition is always my goal regardless of the subject matter.From this site I wish to gain a greater audience for my artwork and the opportunity to meet other artist and models that share a common cause with me.I am originally from St Louis Missouri where i had many art shows displaying my artwork in various art galleries.In 2007 I published a book of photographs called "St Louis Street Slang".Currently I'm working on a many new art projects and artworks here in Baltimore.I can be reached through: model mayhem or email [email protected].
