Since Michelle Slingers childhood makeup was the obvious choice. At the age of seven she was removing her barbies painted on face and recreating it with her mothers cosmetics. Michelle began sneaking her mothers cosmetics to school and using them when she was nine years old and showing her friends what to do with them as well. She commited herself to her passion at 16 when she began doing her own makeup for her friends photographs. By 18 it became appearant to everyone around her that she had the creativity and talent with a brush to create things most people couldn't even dream of. Halloween was always her favorite holiday because it was a chance to create fantasy/horror looks using simple products. In the past two years Michelle has done makeup for fashion shows, social events of all types, different styles of photography, and a bodypainting for a movie premiere. She's currently studying all aspects of makeup at Astute Artistry to refine her talents. Michelle is looking to pursue her passion by creating unique looks for high fashion runway shows, designing the appearance of characters in movies and television, and by bringing out the best features in anyone and making them feel like they are the most beautiful person. Makeup always has and always will be Michelles heart and soul.
