Luca Granai, in arte Demonrat, nasce nel 1977 a Pontedera (Toscana), dove attualmente vive con tre gatte. Diplomatosi all'Istituto d'arte di Firenze (ora liceo artistico statale di Porta Romana) inizia la carriera fotografica nel 2003, creando il progetto Darkknot assieme a Tinebra.

Nel 2011 il sodalizio artistico si interrompe. La collaborazione continua, per quanto riguarda il make up, con ImperfectFleur fino a metà 2013, per poi terminare anch'essa.


Luca Granai, known as Demonrat, was born in 1977 in Pontedera (Tuscany) where he actually lives with three cats. He graduated from High School of Art in Florence ( called "Liceo Artistico statale di Porta Romana") and he began his career in photography during 2003, creating the "Darkknot" project together with another photographer, Tinebra.
In 2011, the artistic partnership with her came to an end, but he continued to work along with ImperfectFleur who collaborate with him as a make up artist, until the mid-2013.
