Thanks for coming to my website. You're obviously reading to know more about me. I don't know if you've ever tried, but it's very hard to write a bio on yourself. What do I say? What do I not say? Do I brag? I don't like to brag, so what should I include or not include?

I haven't been shooting for 20 years, I haven't had an entire lifetime of passion for this, and I didn't dream about this as a kid. I wanted to be a rockstar. Who didn't, right? I wanted long hair. I shave my head now. I wanted to sing with the feeling of Axel Rose, but I'm tone deaf that way. I've always had a thing for decyphering music and movies. Breaking them down. I don't just watch or listen, I focus. I pay attention.

In High School, I played with graphics. I was selling CDs and DVDs to pay for whatever I wanted to do. And I needed covers, and so I created my own designs for them. Then it progressed to manipulating images. I worked with music for a few years, I created artwork for different things. I started doing trick photography on myself. Never thinking anything of it, just for fun.

After music I got into photography as a hobby. Driving through the mountains, taking pictures. Going to the lake, taking pictures. Going to the beach. Going on road trips. Just going. I never wanted to take pictures of people. I wasn't interested in that. But early last year I tried it. And I loved it. The creativity of it. Landscapes are naturally beautiful, but you can't get funky with it. I like to tell my own stories.

And so, it began...
