About Me

In the late 70’s I was a professional photographer. And like other photographers of the time my portfolio consisted of weddings, portraits, and passport photos. After four years of doing this I got totally discouraged with the photography business, as it had become a business ( same photos different people day after day) So much so that I laid down my cameras and sold my studio. That is until 2005 when I received a digital camera for Christmas. So with encouragement of others I enrolled a couple of photography classes and that all it took for me to get the bug once again. But it was different. I photograph what I want to photograph no assemble line. The art became first and foremost, and that’s the way that I like it. So I started with landscapes and building. And although I found this artistically satisfying I miss the human contact. I am turning to Model Mayhem to fill that void. I have several projects that I would like to start. Firstly I would like to do a series on tattoos and the social development. Secondly I would like to develop as series on human scares. And the impact on how it affects life.
In conclusion I would like to state that I a member of the Scottsdale Art League and am in the process of being juried do that I can display in their gallery.
