About Me

Lina Dahlbeck, London based make-up artist in the fashion/advertising/beauty/music/celebtrity industry

Originally from Sweden, Lina started out working as a cartoonist and illustrator after graduating art school. A move to Cairo, Egypt and a job for the largest fashion magazine in the country introduced Lina to the world of fashion and celebrities. She decided to put the drawing career on hold and concentrate on make-up and was soon in high demand by the countries leading producers, singers, actors and magazines. To further her career she decided to return to Sweden and take a course in special effects make-up and wigmaking. She started working for a Swedish make-up brand whilst studying and this company transferred Lina to London a year later to run their shop in Covent Garden. Shortly after arriving in London Lina decided to start her freelancing career and soon joined her first agency.

Lina is now an internationally recognized make-up artist with over a decade in the industry. Her experience covers most areas but celebrities, music and advertising is her main focus. Clients include the White Stripes, Boyzone, Girls Alound, Andrea Bocelli and brands like Roberto Cavalli, Levi's, Evian, Sony, Babyliss.

My and my Stylist (students of London College of Fashion) are organizing TPS and short fashion movie on the 25th of April (TBC) in East London.
We are looking for Makeup artist, and I think your style will perfectly match the concept!
Photoshoot will take a place in Leytonstone - where Alfred Hitchcock was born.
Rokit - vintage clothing chain will supply us with garments, therefore we would like to create colorful, 60-70ies look including modern elements.
Please be aware that shooting hours will be unusual, as pictures will be taken in Leytonstone underground station tunnel (we are planning to use mozaics as background for our story) that's why we are trying to avoid rush hour and crowd, hereby we are talking about 11.15-2 AM. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other queries!
