What makes me, me are the things I have come to understand thus far. I understand the importance of every day experiences, while recognizing the system that circulates around them. As a teenager approaching adult hood I am awaiting a world that doesn’t want me to succeed, or spoon feeds such a promising pathway. My pathway starts with gaining a standpoint of life. I understand the history prior to my birth and the one that I am now living, so that I do no repeat already made mistakes, but move forward toward change and growth. I then look out of a critical lens from which I am able to see clearly through my individual perspective, in order to truly connect with others. What I know about the world and myself builds, evolves -- reborn everyday absorbing like a sponge, and carries onto the next. To know myself at such a young age is like science where there is one answer, where the search for infinite possibilities, answers, experiences, curiosity, and questions end and give into convenient theories and truths. To know mocks my purpose in life because it is what I don’t know that I live to find out. My promising talents and intellectual sophistication doesn’t end my search, the end of my ambition to reach for great lengths through revealing experiences, but only makes me challenge myself to reach for more.
