My name is Karen and I am a 27 year old part-time freelance MUA. I have been freelancing for 4 years now. My passion for make-up is inevitable, for I love art. It comes natural to me when I hold my brushes; the face is my canvas and makeup is my paint. Makeup artistry is an outlet for me to express my creativity. I always feel a rush of adrenaline when I am able to make someone feel glamorous and that much more confident. Although my heart still rests in nursing as my profession, I would love to work in the makeup industry as a side-job. I am currently constructing a portfolio, gaining more and more experience through working with different photographers, a diverse variety of models, and other assistants.
