Biography.
I'm originally from Ecorse, Michigan (southwest Detroit area). I have one sibling. I've always had a love for photography and videography (all things media related really). The photo bug started in high school as I followed the sports photographer around with my grocery store purchased camera; my friends thought I was crazy spending all my money developing film. After high school, I had two mental paths for a career; TV Production/Journalism or Computer Programming at Ferris State University, where I earned a degree in Computer Information Systems. The photography bug didn't go away as it served as a relaxation medium during the stressful times of my computer studies. I would still be asked to do party pictures or group portraits for people. The extra money helped a lot.

After college, I created Sparks Entertainment for the purposes of photography/videography just to see if I could really be serious about it. The response was overwhelming. So in 2009, I realized I should do this formally so I opened a studio in offering family/couple/child portraits, senior pictures and event photography. If felt like a huge weight has lifted off my chest as I should have chosen this path all along. It's odd how love works...good thing she's patient.

In photography I attempt to capture the beauty that everyone has in them (even when they don't see it or believe it's there). My goal is to create an experience that can be shared with others and relived for generations. On Model Mayhem, I know I can be an asset to growing models as well as constantly enhancing my skills while working with the models.
