Ladies and Gentlemen, lovely to meet you.

You can call me Liz; I am a female visual artist based in the UK, in Manchester. I have been doing photography for quite some time now. I am currently doing a BA Hons in Interactive Arts at MMU.

And I also work as a photographer under the name of BBNK! (Babushka koi! Photography and design) and I also work as an alternative model under the name of Lilybet Grey.

I am a designer of two aspects. One being a more commercial based clothing style and the other being a more artistic costume design.

My more commercial side is outfits made as really simple designs but with bold and beautiful fabrics. One example of a more practical use is I have used these for my burlesque performances as they are easy to remove and does not cost as much as some retro boutiques charge.

The costume side of my company is all about performing and the arts. I make items such as large crinolines and recycled outfits. My costumes are not in any shape or form for practical use, they are only for short performances (where no removing such as burlesque is required) or for photo shoots. I only make my costumes for people I know as my costumes are solely for what I call “communication”, it is not for any money. So in simple terms if you wish to wear one of my costumes you have to know me, not pay me!

I am in the process of making jewellery and accessories but again this is just for costume purposes and they are not for sale.

Models, if you wish to model my clothing please understand that many companies send out free clothes and get them back ruined, so unless you will benefit my portfolio, I know you and or you live in Manchester, I do not lend out free items. If you wish to model my clothing I am more than happy to give the models a reduction.

Photographers, if you are interested in using my designs for your portfolio, depending on what outfit you are looking to use etc I am normally able to find models myself, as my range is only just starting!

I am looking to collaborate with different creative people to make some really fantastic images.

I am open to any creative suggestions but the type of themes I am particularly interested in at the moment are -

Silent movies or Film Noir
Retro Fashion
Performance art
