Though I have had a keen interest in photography for many years, I only fairly recently started taking it a bit more seriously when I first became part owner of a little swimwear company, and then started managing a professional photography studio. I realized that I spent so much time producing shoots and working with photographers and models, that I might as well start taking up the camera myself. The studio work is mostly commercial and product photography, which is on the boring side.

I prefer shooting people, whether it’s the portfolio type stuff or events, people make for better shots than say, a gas heater, mini hi-fi or a plate of food!!
