I am an amateur photographer and I am looking to update my portfolio. I try to be very prompt in responding to enquiries on this site even though I might not log in every day.

I mostly like to shoot outdoors but in the cooler and rainy months I will rent studio space/time for shoots. I think it is critical to find an interesting space/place to shoot in and I usually have a short list of places I want to shoot at that I can share.

When planning for a shoot, I tend to focus on putting together a list of outfits and props etc.,. days before the shoot. This gives me (and in some cases the model) time to pick up items we might need before the shoot. I find that well planned shoots produce better pictures and are more fun because both the model and I can focus on good poses.
