Rob Simons is a Los Angeles-based writer and photographer. His collection of stories, Things Kept Burning, was published in September 2006. He also collaborated with German director Werner Herzog on the script for Rescue Dawn, which debuted at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival. His photography has been featured in Mooncruise, Gomma, Beautiful Decay, Braintwisting, 1983, Lomography, Souvenirs From Earth, Iconology and XFuns. From 2002-2005 he was an English Professor at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento.
