Aurélien Bénard est un photographe autodidacte née le 5 Juin 1982 à Manosque .
C'est en 2001, alors qu'il est sur le point de terminer ses études horticoles (BTS), qu'Aurélien fait ses premiers pas dans l'univers de la photo, en s'exerçant à la macrophotographie .
Un an plus tard, il déménage sur Aix en Provence et change de registre en se lançant dans la photographie d'architecture, plus particulièrement des friches et des bâtiments à l'état d'abandon et de délabrement avancé . Les photos réalisées font l'objet de sa première exposition, à l'espace Van Gogh, à Arles .
En 2003, curieux de s'essayer à un autre type d'images, Aurélien monte à Paris, et devient assistant de David Atlan, photographe pour le magazine « point de vue » et réalise des photos de concerts (Lofofora/Le peuple de l'herbe/Suicidal Tendencies/Luke...etc) en parallèle. Ce sont ces expériences qui vont lui procurer un nouvel intérêt: la photographie de modèles .
De retour à Aix en Provence, il s'essaie alors à la photo de mode,beauté et le portrait. Il se spécialise dans le « High Key » et réalise une exposition sur ce thème à Marseille, en 2005 .
En 2008, il contribue à une nouvelle exposition sur le thème « 10 ans de photos » à Sophia-Antipolis. Aurélien,à ce jour, collabore avec plusieurs marques de vêtements pour des catalogues et a déjà quelques publications magazine à son actif (Maximal/Rock Mag/Rolling Stones/Désillusion Mag).

In 2003, curious to try something else, aurel went to Paris and become DA photographer’s assistant for the revue “Point de vue “ and also does concerts pictures for bands like Lofofora/Le peuple de l'herbe/Suicidal Tendencies/Luke...etc, that’s when he started to an interest in shooting photos of models
Back to Aix, he started mode, beauty and portrait photography, specializing in “high
key” , he does an exhibition on that theme in Marseille in 2005
In 2008, he contribute to an exhibition on the theme “ 10 ans de photos” in Sophia Antipolis
To this day A collaborate with several clothes brand for catalogues and already have had a few revues publications (Maximal/Rock Mag/Rolling Stones/Désillusion Mag).
