I am 29 years old, I am a tattoo artist, and I make music also which can be found at www.reverbnation.com/rejekt ; I go by the name RejeKt, but my name is Robert McKey. I prefer to be called Robby or RejeKt. My goals are to be in control of my own actions, my own occupation, and my own creativity. Though, I am flexible with working with others. I am an artist in all forms and I want the world to see that.
Stemming from a metal health surrounded childhood within my own head, I have managed to grow into the man I am today. I write all of my own song lyrics, record my own vocals, mix/master my own songs to sound above average as people have stated bout me, and so far made my own music videos in an acceptable quality considering my financial situations are usually on a bad path. I am quick to adjust or learn something if challenged. I have crazy new ideas all the time.
I am starting a somewhat anti-bullying campaign with my "RejeKt Symbol" as the symbol of hope for all those out there who grew up being picked on, misunderstood, and treated as though they were not worthy. I believe everyone can be worthy of another human being if they stand up and show that they are. I dream to be a man whom is looked to as not a martyr of the social system; but instead, a man who stands among the ones who have said I couldn't be more.
I have had problems with law enforcement in the past, but that is all behind me and has not been a problem since 2008. I want to share my music, my symbol, my physical essence, and my story with anyone who will listen. I am a fast spoken individual who bounces from subject to subject within a moments time. I am intelligent, and I do my research on anything I am interested in knowing or doing.
I also would love to have a chance to perform as an actor on film if given the chance. I am able to used my mental illnesses as a trait to almost completely convince myself that I am the character I am to be percieved as.
