About Me

In September 2009 I seized the fantastic opportunity to style hair for an editorial fashion shoot. I had always been fascinated with hair and prior to this I’d only dabbled in styling for personal interest. It was just my favourite hobby. That’s why this shoot was so extraordinary for me; It consisted of five looks and it lasted 12 hours; working solidly until 6am with my adrenaline pumping and my ideas thriving. I have made the necessary personal sacrifices and in order to obtain the relevant experience and skills I dedicated all of my spare time over the next 9 months up until current day to practicing styling hair for shoots. Accordingly, I have fashioned a diverse and eclectic portfolio.

I’ve learned how to work efficiently within a team of creatives. I can communicate effectively with the photographers, make-up artists and models to achieve beautiful results. I am always inspired by the model’s features, mood and personality; not one detail will escape my attention. Expressing my creativity is what draws me to this industry and I work hard to create innovation and style. That said, I consider it to be so important to not lead away from the directions I have been given. In a project, the artistic ideas from the rest of the team must never be overlooked or overshadowed by my own creative mind. Only together we can make art.

I will always consider working for free when it would be highly beneficial for me. I strive towards excellence and I expect nothing less from the photographers, MUAs, and Models that I work with.

If I feel that the hair styling that I am involved in is non-beneficial I will have to charge fo my time and effort spent. We are all artists and we have to make a living out of it too.

Hi, really beautiful work.

I'm doing a very experimental TFP shoot with a great photographer and team (agency models), this Thursday 17th in East London.

The shoot is a collaboration competition with Yoji Yamamoto, which if won will feature in Vogue Japan with us all credited. I'm down to the final five so we have a good chance of winning!

Travel and lunch is paid.

Hi,

I am a London College of Fashion Graduate Fashion Designer who is looking for a Hairstylist and make-up (if you do either both or just one, not a problem, looking for both either way) for an Egyptian/Cleopatra themed fashion Couture editorial shoot which is being organised. Shoot date tbc, but will be a weekend, most probably mid January as it is now xmas season.

The shoot will involve body painting, Semi Nude (top half) set back in Ancient Egyptian period, with a contemporary look, with the creative hair and make-up. Therefor, looking for a hairstylist and make-up artist who can create contemporary creative hair and make-up for a design influenced (and hand beaded) by Ancient Egyptian. (Think Egyptian Goddesses and Gods)
