I have more than 20 years of professional experience in commercial and fine arts. My experience as art director, graphic designer, illustrator, production artist and production manager for various advertising agencies, design studios, publishers and manufacturers have given me a broad foundation of tools and approaches from which to choose.

I have collaborated on, designed and illustrated book covers, ads, packaging, posters, catalogs, postcards, identity programs and marketing collateral such as data sheets, newsletters and brochures in fields as diverse as education, high-tech, health care and various non-profits. For the last 19 years, I have illustrated and designed higher education textbook covers for Cengage Learning and for 12 years, I was the Creative Director for Wedding Sites and Services Magazine, Colorado edition, published twice a year. Long-term relationships with clients is one of my goals and strengths.

My approach to design differs little from my approach to communication in general. Communicate honestly and clearly. Good relationships foster good work. Have fun.
