Nikki Duong Koenig, a young designer with a fresh vision and an eye for detail, initially created Cykochik to showcase her personal fashion designs and artwork;
but later transformed it into a successful business in 2003–and never looked back.Combining her passion for art and fashion, Duong produced an innovative line
of custom handbags that attracted much attention at Southern Methodist University's Holiday Market. It was then that Cykochik evolved into a booming accessories label.

Dedicated to quality craftsmanship, creativity and customization, Cykochik offers consumers a unique alternative to accessory shopping and gift giving. The original, signature Portrait Totes boast portrait cut-outs (reverse appliqués) designed by Duong and her team of artisans – who meticulously draws and hand-cuts each portrait for each order placed.With a myriad of attractive colors, prints, and designs to choose from, Cykochik custom-made bags have delighted many savvy shoppers worldwide. And while the label has grown over the years, the philosophy and idealistic approach remain the same in a world of mass production. Cykochik fervently believes in individualism and the freedom to express it; without endangering others in the process. All bags are made of animal & eco-friendly vinyl and are 100% sweatshop-free. Every bag is handcrafted by Duong and a team of skilled artisans in the U.S.

The label's name, pronounced (psycho'-chick) derived from the words, "cycle" + "chick" because everything in life has a cycle–especially in fashion, where styles and trends are in a constant state of reinvention.
