PETER BLOOD is a photographer of THE WEIRD working mostly in Chicago and Miami Beach. Subjects include club models, fetish/BDSM and being the pirate he is, sailing and piracy. Peter is currently engaged on a project of recreating renaissance and modern art with the subject of biblical eroticism and kink.

Lighting and costume are keys to Peter's work. By highlighting the essential subject through the negative use of deep shadow an image of mystery and definition can be created. Simple costume, often in colors contrasting the background and the use of masks provides the erotic flourish desired.
Peter prefers models under the height of 5'7" and proportionately thin with some muscular definition (but not "body-builder" type).

Peter also works in the field of written and photographic journalism and videography.
