About Me

I really enjoy shooting and consider good fashion photos to be a collaborative effort.

At present I am not accepting offers for TFP or TFCD.  There are many other good photographers who can help you you get started if your budget is tight.

I travel to NYC frequently and have the good fortune to have contact with other photographers whose work I enjoy.  I'd like to see the midwest gain popularity as a place to find good photographers and models.

So why hire me to help you?  First, you'll find that I really do care about you being happy with the outcome of your shoot.  Second, I shoot with really good equipment.  When we're in a studio situation (and sometimes on location), we'll both be looking at your images on one of my computers while the shoot is going on.  Shooting that way, I can see technical info that will help me, and the models get to see how their poses are working out.  Art directors can instantly flag images that they are interested in for later processing.  Zooming in for closer detail, a MUA can check for lip liner problems or things they want to improve in their makeup.  Much better than film! 

Update 1/20/08 - My current camera is now the Canon 1ds Mark III.  At present, this is the highest resolution 35mm digital you can get.  I'm also trained in the use of a couple of medium format digital solutions.
