About Me

I remember looking through the viewfinder of my Aunt's Canon slr. Cranking the focus ring and, framing the picture, setting the exposure needle, snapping the shutter... and waiting days to see the print.

From that moment on I was hooked. I took the first photography class offered in my high school. I learned about the darkroom, film, lenses, and creating not just a recording but an artistic interpretation.

My high school graduation present was my first slr and 24-105 lens.

I dual majored in college focusing in Art/Photography and Psychology.

I ran the dark room for many, many semesters. I was there at least 14 hours every week. Not some weeks every week. College at the end of the millennium was interesting time. My colleagues and I were in the class where film died and digital began. When I started in college the first digital class was offered. When I graduated there was 1 or 2 film classes left.

Today I travel all over the country assisting and shooting on projects from food to fashion, apparel to architecture, fine art to fotojournalism. I enjoy it all. During this time I have been learning, growing, and determining both what my commercial and fine art focus are to be. If you are a model, hair and/or makeup artist, wardrobe or cloths designer, or body painter I would love to hear from you. Hopefully to discuss and explore possible collaborations. I look forward to new and exciting developments in the visual arts and hope to always be a contributing participant.
