My first camera was a Minolta Maxxim 5000, it was state-of-the-art at the time, now it's considered "vintage". I used that camera for many years to photograph everything from family snapshots to rock bands for the Rock City News in Los Angeles. But sadly, it finally passed away about 2 years ago. The cost of repair was ridiculous considering a new digital camera was more affordable. Welcome me to the digital age.

I'm used to taking a photo and hoping for the best. Now, not only can you delete or modify the image in an instant, but if you are a graphic designer, you can simply reinvent the entire image. I'm not sure where the line is drawn between a photographer and a photoshop wizard but the images that I produce are mainly left untouched. I don't pretend to have technical knowledge of equipment, I just enjoy the design and creation of an image ~ and if you look a bit closer, not at the pixels or missplaced shadows, but at the overall effect, you just might see an underlying message.

I do testing and I will provide the makeup, hair, wardrobe, props and styling. Needless to say, the model must really inspire me...
