My name is Andres Pelaez and im currently a student at the School Of Visual Arts in my second year of the BFA Photography program. My interest in photography has broaden for the last three years and i have shaped my style to be high quality, elegant, and above all amusing. I shoot mostly fashion photography and have worked with Colombian designers to create and photograph advertising campaigns. Aside from creating campaigns from the ground up i have also been published in Philadelphia's CRED magazine and won various awards in my hometown. My inspiration comes from the great founding fathers of fashion photography: Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Steven Klein and Patrick Demarchelier. Other characters that have influenced me: Diana Vreeland, Christian Dior, Nick Knight, John Galliano , Steven Meisel, Peter Lindbergh and Tim Walker.
