I picked up my first DSLR two and a half years ago and I have been hooked ever since.

I couldnt afford to attend some fancy-ass art school to learn how to take photographs... So i took matters into my own hands. I'm a self-taught shooter, with YouTube and how-to books as my only instructors. I am inspired by the great photographers: Zack Arias, Anne Leibovitz, Matthew Rolston, Dan White, Mike Chaves, and many more...

I believe in moderate use of Adobe Lightroom in minimal use of Photoshop. I believe in getting the shot right the first time... I'm very proud of the fact that I shoot with an "entry level" Nikon D40, a single Sb-600, and a studio supplied by Amazon.com and Cowboy studio... because Pocketwizards and Profoto gear are just WAY too expensive for my taste. I want to be a living testament that you don't need the latest and greatest in gear to take good photographs. Just a little bit of know-how and a lot of creativity.

Right now im all about finding my style and building my portfolio... Im willing to work with just about anyone with a great concept.
